Code for Sustainable Homes and Passivhaus

JLdesignservices Sustainable Building Consultancy provides design services for developers and self-builders for dwelling designs that wiil meet the Code for Sustainable Homes and the more stringent Passivhaus design standards.

As well as our usual services for site analysis and feasibility, planning and building regulations services, this includes the selection of sustainable construction methods and materials including the use of technologies such as photovoltaic panels, solar hot water heating, ventilation heat recovery systems and ground and air source heat pumps.

In addition to providing all the backup documentation required to satisfy the Code for Sustainable Homes and the Passivhaus design criteria, financial analysis of payback periods and return on investment are used to justify the design approach and the selection of materials and technologies.
